I've lost my memory card and lost my photos, can i still retrieve them?

i've lost my memory card to my digital camera and it has all my photos on it, is there any way of getting them back without the memory card? or are they lost forever? :(

nope. But are you sure that they were on that card?....I mean some cameras have their own internal memory where you can store photos.check the manual to see if your model has one,but if they were on the card they left no traces so they are lost.

Unless you downloaded them on a computer or made a backup on a CD or DVD, then all you can do is hope you run across the card.

Unless you backed them on your computer  or downloaded them on the net to a photo service (like shutterfly) they are gone. If other people were at the events that are on your camera, you could contact them so you at least have some photos.

I know you are upset, but chalk it up to a lesson learned. Upload your photos onto your computer right after you take them, then also put them on an internet site (shutterfly/snapfish) as a secondary backup.

Nope sorry the only thing you can do is look for your memory card. my mother lost all of my little sisters baby pictures that way. that was like 5years ago. finally we found part of the pics that we had burnt on a cd.
