I've lost my music, can u help please?

Hi, I recently reloaded windows xp, all is ok but if I put a music cd into the drive I can only hear a faint sound from the pc in the distance, no proper music from the speakers which was always ok in the past. Any ideas please? Ta

Did you install the Sound Card Driver after your reinstalled XP? If not, this may be the cause of the issue. Otherwise, fiddle with the audio levels.
