I've moved position can you help me?

i'm 14 yrs old i play for my school and normally i play hooker in the front row but as i have grown quite allot i have just been moved to second row can some one please provide me with tips (i know the basics of binding and stuff like that )

  1. Ask your sports teacher if he/she knows any local teams that you can visit and talk to their players and coaches - I'm sure they would be only too glad to give you some good advice.

    Or have you an older male relative - father,brother, uncle,etc who can accompany to a local club.


  2. I'm really small actually an inside back but i've been chucked at lock a bit yea. Just ask maybe one of the FIRST XV boys if you can get 1 of dem or a teacher wit reasonable knowledge.

  4. Basically crouch with your outside knee nearly on the ground until you engage, then come up off your knee and straighten your legs to get the initial shove. Try not to move your feet too much or you'll have a very unhappy No.8 behind you! Try and keep your back straight and as horizontal as possible. Its a great position if your winning...trust me!
