Please rate ALL of my names on a scale of 1-10 (1=hate,10=love). And then tell me your favorite boy name and your favorite girl name from my lists. Comments on my names are appreciated.

Marcella Leona: I really love the names you picked out, how they are unusual, and traditionally spelled. I don't think the A's on both these names work though. (7)

Emeline Katherine: I love Emeline instead of the overly popular Emily, and the traditional Katherine, but the same ending's of "ine" in both names do not work! (same as the previous) What about Emilia Katherine? (6)

Mackenzie Noelle: yuck..Mackenzie means "son of a wise ruler". You're not having a boy, right? (0)

Melanie Ruth-Ann: Melanie is cute, but the middle name Ann is filler..only recommended unless it is a family name. (5)

Lydia Joy: Very beautiful. (9)

Denise Michelle: Very pretty. And you should spell it traditionally, always. (8)

Alexis Michelle: Did you know Alexis is more popular than Sarah right now in the US baby name charts? (3)

Donovan Michael: Very nice. Honestly, its your son's choice what he wants to be called. He might love DJ, or he might want to be called D-Dawg, or by Michael. He might even want a name change, who knows. Your name choice, his nickname choice.

Jason Conrad: Reallly don't like Conrad. (2)

Nathaniel Irvan: Very nice (9)

Marcella Leona - 8/10 - nice, unique, but not stupid or too out there, not keen on both names ending in A though, maybe Marcella Leonie sounds better or Marcella Noelle.  Marcelle Leona is my favorite girls name in your list.

Emeline Katherine - 6/10 - nice but soooo popular!

Mackenzie Noelle - 5/10 - don't like Mackenzie, but I do like Noelle!!

Melanie Ruth-Ann - 5.5/10 - bit boring, doesn't stand out.

Lydia Joy - 7/10 - nice but maybe work on the middle name.

Denise Michelle - 6/10 - bit old, Michelle is nice though

Alexis Michelle - 6/10 - not a fan of Alexis but I like Michelle

Donovan Michael - 6/10 - don't like the nickname Don or Donnie but I like Michael

Donovan James - 5/10 - don't like Donovan's nicknames and really don't like DJ

Jason Conrad - 8/10 - I like this one!!  Favorite boys name on your list

Nathaniel Irvan - 7/10 - I prefer Nathan Irvan!!

Vincent Daniel - 7/10 - Love the nickname Vinny, Daniel is a good name too :)

Marcella is pretty. Leona is pretty too but i am not that fond of it.

~Emeline Katherine- 9 LOVE Emeline!! very cute. Katherine is a timeless name.

~Mackenzie Noelle- 4 im so sick to death of the name Mackenzie. there are 5 little Mackenzie's in my neighborhood alone. Noelle is very very pretty! i think it'd be better paired w/Marcella. Marcella Noelle.

~Melanie Ruth-Ann-2 absolutely hate it. Melaine is a name that screams 80s to me. and Ruth-Ann sounds like an 80 yr old woman.

~Lydia Joy-7 Lydia to me is a pet name, only because it was the name of my mother's horse that she had for 32 yrs. but i still like it. Joy is cute.

~Denise (or Danese. Which spelling is better?) Michelle-1 Denise is boring, and Michelle is so common it makes me yawn.

~Alexis Michelle- 7 darn! i LOVE the name Alexis but you've paired it w/one of the worlds most commong AND boring middle names of all time! i prefer Alexis Peyton or Alexis Quinn, or Alexis Elise

Boys:

~Donovan Michael (or Donovan James. I can't decide. I love the name James, but I don't want him to get called DJ. What do you think?)- 10!!!! Donovan James!!  Michael is just like Michelle boring and over used. Donovan James is SO cute!! love the name Donovan. and if you dont want him being called DJ dont use it. most ppl will follow YOUR cue on a nickname. he could be called Don, Donny, Van, Jamie...etc.

~Jason Conrad- 7 it's okay. Jason is a bit common though. Conrad is a great name!

~Nathaniel Irvan (Irvan stays. Its in honor of a special person)- 10 LOVE this name!! Nathaniel is one of my favs! and i love honoring a special person...all my kids are named after someone in mine or my hubby's family.

~Vincent Daniel-3 Vincent is okay, i prefer Vaughn or Vance though. i HATE the name Daniel...my ex hubby's name is Daniel.

For the boys names in case the baby is a boy.

I think you should give the baby the name James Irvan.

This way you get a name that you "love" as you say and you also get to give the baby the name Irvan in honor of a special person as you said in your question.

As for the girls names I would

1- Lydia Joy

2- Denise (that is the traditional spelling) also no other name attached to Denise

3- Melanie Ruth-Ann

The others I don't much care for so I think I will just rate them in the way I just did.

Marcella Leona(9) - this name strikes me as elegant and classy. love the way it flows, it's absolutely beautiful.

Emeline Katherine(8) - more traditional? i love traditional and it's a beautiful name but emeline has become quite the common name unfortunately!

Mackenzie Noelle(8) - SO cute. i like this name so much.

Melanie Ruth-Ann(7) - love both the names, just not together so much.

Lydia Joy(7) - i use to love these names, until i met like 3 people with the same name! it started to lose it's beauty rather quickly unlike most traditional names, i still like it a lot though.

Denise Michelle(10) - My favorite, so beautiful, so timeless, so classy and sophisticated.

Alexis Michelle(7) - pretty, not original, but very pretty!

Jason Conrad(5) - laguna beach? still a great name.

Nathaniel Irvan(7) - I like both, but again, not together.

Vincent Daniel(9) - I'd have to say it's my favorite of the three. very masculine. I like it a lot!

I will make up my own 10 for a boy: Conrad James or Irvan Conrad. For the girls 10 is Makenzie Noelle and the nine is another made up one Melanie Alexis. The other are 3's. My favorite boy name is Maddox thats my 5 month old sons name and for a girl i love Maken I have twins and those are their names. Hope I helped.

Emeline Katherine--don't like them together, but love both names.  Work on it some more.

Mackenzie Noelle--YUCK!  Noelle is good.  Hate the MacName.
