I've never gauged my ears before, so they're at 18ga, the smallest taper i can find is 14, should i get it?

having never gauged my ears before, i assume they're at 18ga. i can't find a 16ga taper, and i don't want to buy the whole set for the gauging process. i just want to take mine from 18ga to about 12ga....would it be bad of me to jump from 18ga to 14ga? i don't want it to hurt or anything....

You will be completely fine :)

I tapered up from 18g to 12g and had absolutely no problems stretching. It didnt hurt at all :)

The jump in 18g to 14g is only 0.6mm which is really nothing!
