I don't know how payments work exactly because I'm new to this but if payments are based off of company rates this would help. Or whichever has the lowest interest rate would be fine. The laptop I'm looking to buy is about 400 dollars by the way.

  1. check with the bank where you bank at and see if they offer one. Don't just fill out the apps that come in the mail. You want a reliable card that offers protection in case it is lost/stolen. You will be required to make the minimum payments on the balance of what you charge. Every card has different interest rates. Most will start out really low, but will sky rocket within 3-6 months. so be care ful on which one you select. Interest is calculated from the date of the purchase until payment is recieved and new interest accures on any unpaid balances.

  4. Your rates on interest will also be determined by your credit score.  Low score, higher interest.  High score, lower interest.  Your credit score also will determine the credit limit you can get.  If it's a poor score, you may only qualify for a card with a $500 limit.  Higher score will get you higher purchasing limit.

I second the first answer.  Check with the store where you want to purchase the computer.  You can finance a computer through them without getting a credit card.

  5. You can try the site below and find a card that you can get approved for. Interest rate will differ based on the card you pick and your credit score. You can apply online for all of the cards so just do it and see which one you get approved for. good luck!

  6. How about financing with the computer company itself.  I know they offer payent plans.
