I've never used my debit card. If I use it online, will it specify a debit card or will it be a credit card?

Online it will most likely be used as credit. In order to use a debit card you usually have to punch in your pin number.

it'll take the money directly out of your bank account when you place your order (or at least within 1 or 2 days after the transaction) so make sure you have enough money in there to cover your purchase.

with a credit card you can charge a bunch of stuff and then you get a bill at the end of the month and choose to pay between either the minimum amount or the whole thing.

It won't give you an option. It just goes through as credit. But make sure you remember how much you spent because credit doesn't automatically take out the money. It may take a few days.
