  1. Dems Mock has it pretty square on. He hasn't governed squat, nor has McCain, but McCain has been around and worked the issues. I'll give Obama this, though. He can give a good speech.

  2. How many years of governing does he have under his belt?

POTUS is not a mid-level career....it's CEO level and if you don't have at least 10 years in, you shouldn't be a presidential canidate.

  3. he may not have government experience, but he's still more intelligent than McCain and actually studied constitutional law and was a professor for it. i know for sure he'll know what he's doing in that sort of area then.

and to the answer below mine about Obama not being a good leader, a comrade McCain fought with said he was a horrible leader and irresponsible so he isn't much better.

  4. He lacks experience as a chief executive.

He also lacks leadership experience. Even his VP has stated that.

Both McCain and Biden lack the same experience (though McCain has expereince as a commanding officer in the Navy).

Interestingly, Sarah Palin has experience as Chief Executive, both as a mayor, and as governor.

    Strange election, isn't it?

  5. He's done nothing on foriegn policy, he has no experience with economy, he's made no legislation. he's voted instead of actually sitting in the Senate.

  6. He has never run anything.  Even a lemonade stand.

  7. 1. community organizer

    2. senator in Illinois and voted "present" most of the time

    3. US Senator campaigning for president from day 1

His friends are Rev. Wright, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, etc.

  8. He lacks experience at running anything.

A governor has experience at leading a state government (in fact, a governor is kind of like the president of the state).

A successful businessman (or woman) has experience at leading a company.

A Senator can eventually lead powerful committees in the Senate, but only after spending years working up to that level.  A new Senator really doesn't do much but vote.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.  Not only that, the one Senate committee that he headed never even met — once.

Voting for Obama would be a huge mistake.

  9. I'll answer with a question: What experience does he have?

  10. It's true that he is inexperienced in governing compared to McCain,

but if he gets the troops out of Iraq, which will be the first step in getting

the economy on track, that will more than make up for it.

Experienced or not,McCain would continue Bush's failed policies, and

lead the U.S. farther down the low road it's presently on.

Experience doesn't count for everything, and by itself is not enough.

  11. Thanks to John McCain, we now know experience no longer matters.  Case in point: Sarah Palin
