so why is it so different with humans? like really- when you watch a college movie- you see guys fully clothed while gals run around nude. Why does the media make women so S****y and out there--- i just dont understand.. are women really actually the less attractive bunch and use makeup and junk to hide it.. and men are just naturally amazing ( cause based on what i know- their average get ready time is like- 20 minutes.) does anyone have any insight on this at all?

  1. men are more atracted to woman then women are to men thats why p**n on the internet is usally runned by men also there are alot of lesbians in the world out there so ur killin 2 birds with one stone

  2. First of all, pay no attention to Studfinder's assertion about the Salem "witch burnings" being done to exert control over women.

That's because there were no burnings at Salem -- the victims of the "witch hunts" were hanged.

And more importantly, several of the victims were MEN.

As for movies, we do not see male genitalia -- but neither do we see female genitalia.

We may see women's b*****s, and we may also see someone's butt -- men's or women's.

For many animals the male shows his feathers, bright colors, or whatever in order to attract the attention of the females.

Well, there are HUMAN males who do the same thing!   Ever notice how a guy makes sure his hair and clothes look good before he goes on a date, or goes out clubbing with the guys?

  3. Hi!

I agree, and think it's unfortunate.  Women are the more attractive in our species, but obviously, women like men plenty!  This different treatment of women's vs. men's sexuality isn't as bad in all countries!  I gather from your question, you are in the states, but Mexican, Spanish, and even (to an extent) Canadian films do far better than we do here.  There are theories that this came about after men reasserted their dominion of women during the times of the Salem witch burnings, and never really left.  For a while, we were doing better, but Nextel and 5 other companies were offered 1 million dollars each to use their influence to help "put things back" by some rich misogynist. (I forget his name, if you find out, email me.)  One area I've noticed is cell phone wallpapers (especially on prepaid phones)  The guys are given all these pictures of near nude women in provocative poses, while the women are given "head shots" of men! (one wallpaper of a man is titled "In The Shower" and features a picture of a guy from the CHIN UP!)

I think things won't change until women start to speak up, and claim what's theirs, rather than act like it makes them "S****y" to do so.  I do what I can, but a guy claiming it for Y`All just doesn't speak as loudly.

One thing I saw that had SOME affect was a video (type "Boost Mobile Bites" on youtube)  but, I think letters and calls will help also.  I'm getting ready to email my new service provider, Net 10,  to ask them just WHY they have tons of scantily clad women in "Girl Pix" and a few head shots of men in "Guy Pix", and to ask that they do something about it!  They'll probably say the wallpapers are offered by a third party, but what they won't say is that they contract with them, and determine which images will be there.  They're still responsible anyway, of course!  -And they better not say "social acceptance" is the reason, since that's the reality they're helping to create!

Anyway, call your girlfriends, and tell them to get on the ball!  Until we create change, things will stay the same!

PS:  Did you know 7-11 refuses to carry any pornography featuring men, like Playgirl, and will only carry those featuring women?  Their excuse is "They don't sell!"  Pleez-  Maybe I should create a video about THEM!

    EDIT:

    ROFLMAO!

Regarding Ms Kim's criticisms, "witch burnings" are a well-documented part of history."  It's true that the witches in Salem were hanged, with one pressed. This was hardly the point.  It is often referred to as "witch burnings" because it was known as the "burning times", and because witches in other places, were in fact, burned. (Joan of Arc) An exact estimate of executions is hard to come by, as the records have been lost, but worldwide, anywhere from 7-11 million witches were executed.  Yes, some of the witches were men.  -Most of them were women.  The information is there for you to research for yourself, regardless of any of our "opinions" Here is a reliable ".org" link for some true historical information, as this is getting off topic.  Note the reference by Katz in paragraph eight.

  4. It's a word run by men basically, guys that have power don't want to see a giant p***s on the screen. And there's nothing that makes girls more or less attractive than males. As far as makeup goes, it was invended asa way to attractmales of power and to seem more attractive to guys, not to hide ugliness. Originally it was part of cultures and religions to get a mating partner best suited to raise a family because women were opressed and could not wander through men, dating and such like we can now. Back in the days of arranged marriages it was used as a device to make yourself more pleasant to a husband that was unhappy with his marriage to avoid being abused.

And as a guy the gt ready time isn't because were so amazing that were lightning quick or anything we just dont need to straighten/ curl our hair, paint our nails, put on lipstick, do our eyeliner, eyeshadow , blahblah blah. It's because thats how society is, we just dont use it generally.

And as for the movies, it's not that showing a naked girl is more acceptable its just that people will pay alot of money to let those part slip under the radar so that its avaliable to a wider audience who would be interested in it.
