  1. its not the finals so they arent running 110% yet. right now they are cruising at 100%.

  2. They are only slow so far as it is only heats, wait until the final and then see if it is as slow

  3. These are the first heats...they're not putting their all into it...just wait till the finals when they kick it into gear!

  4. Realistically, that might not be good enough to qualify for the contention rounds in the olympics.

But if you can improve, and you're among the fastest in your country, you might have a chance. Most countries have an olympic committee that supports/sponsors athletes, you'd have to check with them. Even if you're not a favorite or a medal contender, your country might like to have a representative in the olympics.

Beyond that, you'd be more likely to get in if you can train like h**l, and shave a second off your time. That's why most athletes have sponsors, so they don't have to work, and can train all day, every day.

  5. No

  6. i am pretty sure you have to qualify. Certain age, no drugs you know all that stuff. But yeah go for it best of luck to you

  7. no way your too slow. in the 100 it's the .001 seconds that matter!

  8. The U.S times I believe are generally much lower... so it would be difficult to qualify for the U.S olympc team.

Also you would need to be able to run a time below the or equivilant to the qualifying time for both you nation and the olympics...
