How many hours practice would I need to get to the level I was at before? I have played 3 hours altogether this past week, and I'm starting a regime - an hour a day. (I usually hit against the wall in our shed (it's the same dimensions as a tennis court..and there's a line I aim to hit just slightly above).. i'm watching tennis vids at the minute to try and get a few tips. Is it possible to get alot worse over a 6 month gap because you forget a few of the things? I played today and I thought after 30 mins of serving practice my first and second serve was better than ever

  1. The best thing is to play with someone else. By hitting a tennis ball against a wall, you're gonna get bored and stop. My brother and I have also been playing for 3 years also and we play tennis every day in the summer. During the school years, we play as much as we can, but we play for almost 45 minutes every day in the summer. GOOD LUCK!

  2. What my club say's "There is no glory in practice but no glory without practice, so keep practicing with a friend or get a coaching it cost so money but worth it, practice with a wall or practice your swing and look at some techniques online to see the swing. Good Luck
