I've registered my domain with GoDaddy. Now What? (Website Design)?

Question

Now that I have a domain, do I have to use GoDaddy to design my site and pay them a monthly fee? If not, how do I go about designing the site myself? I've got plenty of time to design it because I will not finish school for another year. I'd like a site designer with built-in templates and such.

you can design your website yourself, but is it really useful? you can ask ww,graphicday.com to design your website with Joomla. then you can access your website any where any time to change its content. isn't it good! they design a website for you, after that you never need they to make changes, since they give you a friendly user interface design with a control panel that makes you ale to change the content of your website easily!

just find a host and they should have a dns server to shout you website to the world.

you don't have to go with go daddy.

if you host it yourself you'll need a dns server or use a free dns to point the request to your website to your ip address.

You will need a web hosting account.  (http://www.hosttosucceed.com) And to create the website you can either code by hand or use a WYSIWYG editor.  This means "What You See Is What You Get".  Something like Pagebreeze (http://www.pagebreeze.com) or NVU (http://www.nvudev.com/download.php) would be perfect for making the website.  They are both very easy to use for beginners.  If you need any more help, just e-mail me at [e-mail] and I will be glad to help you out.
