I've suffered from depression for almost a year after a bad storm. Now, another storm is on its way and I dont know if I can deal with it. Ive already lost my sister and brother, and I think Im depressed once again. Ive been doing everything every christian should do just turn to Jesus, but Im just... I can't do this anymore. I sometimes wish I would die... I was wondering if there were any scriptures in the bible that can ya know help me with these problems... and if there were could you point them out to me before 2:00 pm central time. thanks.

  1. See a doctor sweetie they can help. I will be praying for you. May God Bless

  2. I'm very sorry to hear that you are depressed.  I too have gone through some tough times.  This may sound hokey but I have found that if I just open the bible the Lord will show me scripture that I need to read at that given time.  Trust in the Lord and he will bring you out of this.  I know depression can be very hard on a Christian soul.  I battled with it myself and at one point even had the audacity to question the Lord's plan for me.  Just know that God loves you and you may not understand his plan for you right now but I assure you when you get to the otherside of the depression you will see that you are stronger.

You may want to try reading Romans 12:9-21.

  3. Onesexypanda:  she is depressed because one storm already took the lives of her brother and sister, and there is another storm on the way, which brings both new and old fears with it.  stop being a *****.

anyway, i cannot offer you any bible verses, but have you considered a phychologist, or a councilor?  and please, make sure you are safe before this storm hits.

  4. just have faith that they're in a better place looking after you.

relax, stay calm, and focus on the good in life. good things come out of tragedy.

  5. I pray to God wish you will be fine, able to overcome the stress & reward you the best for all tests given to you one day.

  6. I feel for you. I know what part of the country you are living in. My parents are evacuating here from Louisiana and their house was flooded in the last storm. They just finished renovating it. I lost my brother shortly after Katrina, from drug overdose. He just couldn't handle the trauma. I also understand depression. The important thing to remember is that when we pray we MUST have faith that God WILL help us, as difficult as it is. Keep doing what you are doing. Just want to let you know I care. I'll be thinking of you.

  7. well, i used to be depressed too and i wanted to give up, until i read a verse inthe bible that  dont really remember much. it said something like this i leave all my problems to the lord. which in his name i can do anything.(i dont remember the exact verse but it say something like this) hope it helps

  8. (I am soo sorry that this post is last. I just found it a few minutes ago)

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. - Matthew 5:4 (I am soo sorry about your lose and all that you've been going through.)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. - Isaiah 43:2

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.  - Isaiah 40:31

"I will never leave you nor forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5

And always remember that Jesus loves you. Feel free to email me if you need to talk.

  9. I've been in your position, not with the storm but with the depression, have you talked to a counselor? Or been to see a doctor? It will help.

  10. Of course you're depressed. You're relying on your imaginary invisible all powerful friend to make your life better instead of getting up and doing something about it.
