I've this terrible butt rash (butt jock itch?) / insect bites?

This is embarrassing to ask, but I've Googled my butt off and am still not quite sure.

I think I either have a butt rash or have been bitten by something. I itch straight down the crease and have these little bumps that itch. Those are mostly on my right cheek but there is one or two further right. They are itchy and small, smaller than a centimeter across. But my Lord, they itch feirociously!

They haven't been known the puss up and leave open sores, but because of the scratching, they bleed ever so slightly. It is not uncomfortable to sit down, and nor does it lead to my feminine bits.

I get this maybe every three or four months. Highly occasional. It lasts a few days. No longer than seven. I think it could either be insect bites. But if its a rash, I suspect something along the lines of a area-wetness rash, maybe there is too much hair/not enough air getting to it, or even something fungal. Is it possibly diaper rash, despire the lack thereof?

I know for a fact that it is not herpes, a yeast infection or a hemroid.

Please, someone help me. (And be mature about this, I am quite distraught.)

Thank you!
