I-485 questions?

I was married to a guy that I applied for a I-485 for him because he was kicked out of school and we were married anyway. He ended up cheating on me and he was doing drugs so we divorced. The I-485 is still in processing, I have contacted them and let them know we divorced. What will happen next?

Make sure you send them the copy of his case # and mail it certified mail and keep copy for your records..

The I-485 will likely be denied and you can move on with your life. You did the right thing by letting USCIS know, now there's not much else you can do.

well if you've called them then ask them this question, they know better than anyone here, sometimes the operators are not helpful at all so you can make an InfoPass appointment, this means that you can go to a USCIS local office and speak with an immigration officer, you can schedule it at www.uscis.gov and it's free.
