I AM 49 AND NEED READING GLASSES?

i am not used to carring them around. The only think I can't read is 11 font or less, such as newspapers, magazines, medicine bottles, (They are the smallest) Can I go on just not reading newspapers or is it truly hurting my eyes?? This has been going on for 2 years and it just gets a tiny bit worse every six months. Should I wait until i really need glasses because I truly never carry them. Anyone with this experience?

  1. Welcome to the world of the far-sighted!  Try out the reading glasses that you can get almost anywhere.  Make sure they're comfortable to SEE through.  The up-side is eventually, you'll be able to rip through your driver's eye-test like I did last time.

  2. Might want to get contacts! They are great! Or just get a tie or little string thing, so you are able to let your reading glass's hang around your neck when not using them. Def. go see your eye doctor and get things checked out, it couldn't hurt!

  3. I don't think you should put it off because you can cause a accident when driving.

  4. Foregoing an eye exam is extremely stupid.  The fading eyesight could be a warning of greater problems.  You learn quite quickly to keep them with you at all times.
