  1. Yes Yes it can, and it will be mad as h**l... Run RUN RUN!!! for the hills....

  2. Yes, it can. And will. Be afraid. Seriously, they do come right back out.

  3. Many people find spiders repulsive and scary, yet the majority of spiders are harmless and beneficial. Only four kinds of spiders are known to cause health problems in the U.S.

Most spider problems can be solved without the use of chemicals. The first, and perhaps best, suggested controls are mechanical. Inspect door and window casings in the house for closeness of fit. Repair holes large enough to admit spiders. Other areas to inspect include entry points of water pipes and electrical lines. Caulk any cracks and other small openings.

  4. No--it probably died on its way to the canisters.

Sure hope it didn't signal it's mate before it died...

  5. Yes it can. Some spiders are very rugged and can withstand a lot of harsh environments. In your case, when you vacuum the spider up, bring the vacuum outside and empty the contents. If you are too nervous, well, just leave it outside.

If it's arachnophobia you have, let someone else deal with emptying the vacuum.

Wearing some rubber gloves when cleaning up around the house will help you avoid being exposed to a direct contact

Hope this helps and good luck.

  6. yes it can come out what i do is block the hose with a plastic bag and let my husband clean the vacuum cleaner whenever he wants so if it's still alive he would kill it

  7. Ohh my gosh i HATE spiders! You should have killed it before you vacumed it up, cause it could still be alive and then crawl out of the hose.

  8. Me too I am afraid of spiders I have a spider somewhere under the carpet of my room or else in the walls on its way downstairs :(  But lets hope that spider does not come crawling out :X

  9. Yes they can come back out but the likely hood of that happening is nil to none.  The force of the vac would normally wreak havoc on the spider.  Hopefully she was not carrying eggs (baby spiders).  This could be an issue.

  10. Throw away the vaccum ASAP!!!!,the species of spider is called a vaccumus uphoseus. They are known to be very vindictive and dont forget and lay eggs in your ear when your sleeping.

  11. RUN! YES it will come out and BITE YOU!!! No I'm just kidding...... maybe.

  13. I used to suck spider up the vaccum all the time. Just stuff a paper towel in the end of the hose untill the next time you use it. You should be fine.

  14. Depends on the strength of the suction, how clogged the hose is, and how long ago you suctioned him or her up. I have done the same thing before. Time will tell sweetie. I don't like spiders either.

  15. it wil squirt out proballyyy

I am AFRAID OF THEM TOOO!

  16. if it really is giant as you say then i think its still alive just got knocked around a bit getting sucked in

  17. hopefully it died when you vacuumed it.

    if not.

it might be able to come out.

    and it'll be mad.

where i live we have these huge spiders.

    called wolf spiders.

    they're really scary.

    and mean.

i'd suggest getting someone who is willing to wait to see if it comes out to kill it for you.

    or empty the vacuum.

    either way.

    it's still a suck-y situation.

  18. BE AFRAID...BE VERY AFRAID! ABSOLUTELY!
