That is the mobile serial number. I think you are getting that message from some other number.

that messaged person mobile has the anti theft

protection in his mobile. He may gave ur number in the protection list. you can change the theft protection in his mobile for not receving this message.

the IMEI # is what is used for activation if you remove your battary under it will be a number that will start with"IMEI" check if it matches?   if you have maybe recently switched to a new phone that might be the problem... but you phone is working right?

Dont worry that is your mobile serial number, just ask with your operator wether they are having some problem with your phone. As if phone has been brought from grey market there might be chances that original owner is trying to disable this phone.
