  1. Today's your lucky day!

I'm currently casting for an online series, for teenagers much like you.

    Hurry!

  2. Get a new hobby

  3. First off, it is very important that you get as much experience acting as possible, you said you acted in theaters and you disliked it, but what makes you think that film and TV work is any different. At the end of the day acting is acting regardless of where you are. You have to start off small to make it big, no one is born a brilliant actress everyone has to start of somewhere. You should try to find a talent agency that will sign you up and get an agent for you. An agent does all the work finding auditions and acting work for you. But you only get out what you put in, you have to prove that this is what you want, sign up for acting classes or join a drama school if possible and try and get as much experience as possible. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get practise and improve your talent. Movie producers only want the best so show them that you are the best by getting involved in lots of productions to improve your talent.

I have just been on a very good website that posts roles on disney channel, the roles are only small, but you have to start somewhere and getting involved in things like this now, will really help you for the future: http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/ even though it has a bit about sending money off at the side, you don't have to all the auditions will appear on the website for you to use whether or not you pay.

I would just like to say good luck in acheving your dream, if you want it bad enough, it will happen just stay positive and always be on the look out for oppiturnities.

  4. One option is: I would find some acting workshop in New York City and make some connections and maybe in the summers go participate in something like that.

In a few years, move there and live in a group house and make your way into learning acting.

Or, finish high school on an accelerated schedule so you can follow your dream sooner.

There could also be some local acting programs.

I think theater is boring too.

Don't allow discouraging parents to tell you what to do.

  5. I agree with theatre doc.

  6. Try entering this dream job contest, I recently entered and it looks really good.

  7. WAKE UP YOU ARE DREAMING!  There are almost no acting jobs for 13 year olds. You cannot find a job by yourself. You need an agent. To get an agent you need to be very talented, have lots of exeperience and training and parents that are helping you as they have to sign for everything you do professionally until you are 18. You do not love acting if you do not like theatre. Theatre is where all actors hone their skills. What makes you think there are roles for inexperienced 13 yr old actors in action films? Time to join reality, Buckko!

  8. Honestly, that business is one of the hardest there is. If you don't want to put in the effort for yourself by practicing, going to a performing arts school or even searching for auditions then you won't have the strength to make it. Put in work to get what you want. Life isn't all about taking.

  9. yeah what the man above me(theatre doc) has abviced is absolutely right!

  10. go on google and type in disney acting jobs. that will take you to disney.com it will tell you wat to do from there

  11. Good things come to those who wait.
