  1. wow thats awesome

my bet would be that you'd have to become a citizen but yeah it's possible... wouldnt you need a job though?

  2. www.ind.nl

It is hard, good luck to you.

  3. You will not be able to marry and stay under a tourist visa. Any changes to immigration status must be done from your home country.

As mentioned this is absoluely not an easy or quick process, so be forewarned about this, and you must follow eveything by the letter

There is lots of info on http://www.ind.nl/nl/index.asp  There is a English section, but if your fiancee is/reads Dutch then a quick tip - look at the Dutch section rather than the English one, as this contains a lot more info

I am married to a European but non-EU husband so had to follow part of the procedure (although he was legally working in Norway at the time which made it easier).

    Good luck

  4. Why are you inquiring here? Why don't you contact the Dutch Embassy in your country and ask about the procedure, and what you will need to bring with you?

  5. The person you want to marry need to be a Dutch citizen and needs to apply for your MVD at the IND ( immigration services).

\The need to meet certain financial requirements in order to file and get an approval.

They for example need to have a gross income of 125% of the national minimum.

Also he/she needs to pay for you medical insurance.

Check this website for all requirements.

  6. Even if you marry to a Dutch citizen you should leave the Netherlands and ask for MVV visa - a special spouse visa. To get it your partner should have sufficient income to bring you and have a constant work contract. On IND site - the link to that was given above - it's written what conditions your Dutch citizen should meet to be able to bring you to Holland.

And if you're not from EU-country you should also take your exam before coming for knowledge of Dutch language and culture.
