I Also received an SMS saying i won yahoo!mail flash of amount $9500 is real or Scam?

I recieved an email from yahoo ( i am not sure ) after an SMS saying i won 9500 $ ..and i thought about asking if its true

i have to supmt my info to VeriSign which is a trusted digital notarization system .. or is it all a scam

this is the email i got :

Mail Flash on the Yahoo! regional telephone code extraction database on Monday, 12 February 2007 01:03:33. Read through page to validate.

No processing/registration charges or any form of financial payments should be made to Yahoo! or any of it's affiliated consultants in the U.S, the programme is FREE.

The Yahoo! 2007 Mail Flash prize is shipped to recipients only as Cashier's cheques. Your banking/other personal financial information not required (Your Credit Card information is not required).

  1. it may be spam, so it's rather dangerous to give out any information. i think it's best that you contact Yahoo! and find out whether that contest actually exist. if it really does, congrats.

  4. There are a number of scams coming out of the states at the moment. The most well known is the American awards center.

    They tempt you with free prizes thensay you have to send money to enter a draw, then when you find out that the draw has taken place, it is always won by someone in germany or austria.

    Its a scam, Trash it then report it as spam.
