I Am Making a Power Point ?

I am making a power point on my mac and i want to put a video on it but when ever i start the power point the video does not play I also have the new version of the power point thing.

You have to add it to the animation.  Click Slideshow->Custom Animation.  Make sure the check box by "Media 1" is marked.  You can also change the various settings and effects.  (This might not be exact, as my version of power point is 8 years old).
