I Broke My Canon PowerShot Digital Camera!!! HELP!!?

Question

I dropped my Canon PowerShot SD1000 on the floor, it still turns on, but when i go to the picture setting to take a picture, it takes a video. On the video setting, it takes a video. On the play back setting, it plays back the videos.

Is there some way I can get the Photo taking setting back to normal?!? If so How?!?!

Is this a problem I can fix, or should I take it into the shop?

The Warrenty just expiered I think..

oooh my friend droped her camera too and now it cant take pics. take out da battery and reset the camera, sometimes technology mess with you and you have to take revenge. i usually do this with my phone when it glitches. if it still doesn't work ur gona have to get it fixed

sucks when the warrenty expires happened for my psp and i had to pay and extra 70 to get it fixed

Oops, dial on camera is messed up.  either get used to it or take to shop.  take 2 shop is better.
