I Can't Open My C: Drive ?

When I Go Into My Computer And Try To Open My Hard Drive AKA C: It Asks Me TO Choose What Program To Open It With

there is some virus attack on ur system

instead of opening it by Double Click, open it by Right Clicking on it and then selecting Open.

i believe this will solve ur problem.

for complete recovery u need to install an updated anti virus in ur system.

One of the options should be open folder to view files. This will allow you to see the data on the drive.

Right click on the drive and select properties. One of the tabs will be autoplay. Select the option not to prompt you each time and this will stop your system from asking the question.

Well, it obviously works, since you can boot the computer. Try right clicking it and selecting explore.

This can also happen if some of the system files (DLLs) get corrupted. You can try restoring the system files from your windows installer CD. Just insert the installer CD in drive, go to the Dos Prompt (Start Menu=>All Programs=>Accessories=>Command Prompt) and type SFC at the command line. Press return and follow the instructions.

Once the systme files are restores, you should not face this problem.
