  1. Frogs won't eat things that don't move, so you can't feed it dead flies.

I'd suggest letting it go, if you're just keeping it for an hour or so then go ahead and mist it.

It's pretty much completely impossible to keep a frog alive for more then a day or two under those conditions, so please don't try to make a pet out of it.

  2. Yes to everything you said!

Put a rock and a little pond!

  3. I'm surprised your frog is eating the dead flies since most frogs need some sort of movement for a feeding response. You do have to be careful what you catch nowadays because, some frogs are threatened or require permits to catch. If you don't know the environment it prefers, don't know what kind of frog it is and don't know how to take care of it maybe you should let the frog go. Then read a couple amphibian field guides before going outside and catching another frog.

  4. Awww..how cute! What color is it?

  5. well for one get the fan off the frog its blowing cold air into the plastic tupperware container which is probably way too small to begin with.  the thing about herps is that they cant regulate their own body temperature and without having the right gradient of heat you are probably hurting it really bad right now and with it being in a tupperware container its probably stressing out to the max also so please let the little guy go before it dies

  6. then let it go again or your lil frog is gonna die, do you want to be responsible for that, you obviously don,t know anything about it or you wouldn,t need to ask, put it back wher you found it and let it live and hopefully grow older and breed future lil frogs,

  7. Your best bet is to let him go. Other wise he will probably die.

  8. Let the frog go.  If you really wanted to keep it alive, you wouldn't have it in a tupperware container with a fan blowing on it, asking questions online about how to proceed.
