For those of you who have been folllowing my questions, you know that I am the proud father of 3 boys (2 College Freshmen and one High School Student) I am pround of my boys and they are proud of me, HOWEVER! I DO NOT have a little gir! AND I WANT ONE!! If I attempt to single parent adopt, will I be able to? Are you pregnant and expecting a little girl? Are you a single mom with a little girl, and your little girl does not have a "Daddy" ? Can I "adopt" your "Little Girl"? Please DO NOT think I am some kind of "WEIRDO" by asking these questions! I AM QUITE SERIOUS! I am also an intelligent, mature, responsible adult male who more then anything else in the world just wants to have A DAUGHTER! Besides ADOPTION, I welcome any ideas you may have as to what I can do to have a daughter!

  1. You should wait for one, you sons probably have one sooner than you think

  2. Consiter fostering, if adopting is right for you find an agency and wait it out. I hardly think you need to just wait for grandchildren, although that is an option. Volunteering with children is another option.

  3. Other than adoption you could try Surrogacy...where you commision a woman to carry a pregnancy for you. I would look into an agency in your local area and check out the laws about surrogacy in your state. Some states think that it is buying a selling a child when in fact you are paying some one for a service that they are providing. It can be quite costly...but there is no one to tell you that the child is not your....for more information check out http://www.surromomsonline.com/ its a great site and they have independant Surrogates. DO A LOT of research before you decide this is the way to go. You just sound like a grea guy whos always wanted to have a Daddys little girl.

  4. Single parents can adopt.  Adoption agencies will fulfill requests for a girl or boy, if you ask, but of course then the wait is longer.  It IS an unusual question, when you ask it here, but to an adoption agency it might be quite routine.

  5. Yikes...this does sound a little creepy.

  6. You sound a little creepy to me.I would never let you near my daughters.

  7. First off I think you need to know that some of the other answers you got to this question were unnecessary.  Just because a man wants to have a daughter does not make him a creep!  Don't listen to the negative things.  I would suggest adoption but it might be difficult for a single man to adopt a girl.  Not that I personally believe you shouldn't be able to, but you know society!

My other suggestion would be to volunteer somewhere with kids.  Like a Big Brother kind of thing.  You'll get to spend tons of quality time with children and contribute to their lives in special ways.  This is kind of the best of both worlds too because you won't have night wakings, loads of expensive things to buy, dirty diapers!  lol

    Good luck.

  8. you're right. you do sound like a weirdo. but if you are serious and not some freaking child molester, look into foster parenting. you can tell them what age and s*x you are willing to take in.

  9. Hey...why don't you get a women and have a baby w/ her...their is ways to ensure you have a girl...also, being a single dad w/ any child is difficult but can be done.  I would say, if you don't have a gf, maybe go and try adoption...I wouldn't ask women on here about adopting their little girls just because it's not something you can just ask...a lot of things must be done legally...

    Hope you get your dreams...

  10. how about finding a women your age and ask her out treat her tell her you love her and maybe one day you will be lucky by the way i have sisters with no baby daddy of a girl

  11. Perpare for a long haul like every other adopting Daddy. You can do it, you just need to go through the process like everyone else.

I don't think you're a weirdo, I think you're a very brave man who will likely take stick from your community if they don't respect and understand your want.

Apart from adoption, wait until one of your boys has kids, move in with him and raise his daughter as your own! (now that's a little creepy...)

  12. marry a single mom of a daughter.

  13. Ok, you should probably wait for grandkids. You are scaring the c**p out of me. Stay away from my kids!

  14. Just hold on to your enthusiasm, grand daughters are likely to be in your future within the decade.  In the meantime join a volunteer organization where you can mentor a little girl.  The local school board or social type club like Rotary should be able to point you in the right direction.  Wait for grand daughters.

  15. I can understand your wanting a certain gender child. That doesn't make you a creep. I think perhaps the excitment of this question is what is making people get confused on your intentions. My father wanted daughters instead of sons and I myself desperately want sons instead of daughters. I can see why people would think that was weird but it's not. You have three sons so I don't see why adoption wouldn't be a possiblity maybe your questions would be better asked to an adoption agency just a word to the wise don't sound so desperate for a daughter lol You can state you have a preferance for a girl given you've had three boys but screaming "I NEED A DAUGHTER! I'LL TAKE ONE AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS!" may leave them thinking "this man is creepy" :D

  16. Wow. You came off very creepy rather than a mature father. I think you need to go through an adoption agency. In person, possibly, you're a bit less psychotic.

I suggest, if you're truly serious and not some sort of "WEIRDO" as you put it, then call some agencies, get an attorney and make it happen. The people at Yahoo! answers aren't going to e-mail you and correspond giving their child away through instant messages and e-mails. This is not the way of going about it.

    Best of luck.
