I DIDNT GET CLOTHES FOR BAK TO SCHOOL THIS YEAR...(SAD)?

YEAH MY PARENTS ARE BROKE AND DONT HAVE MONEY SO ME AND MY 4 BROTHERS AND 1 SISTER HAVENT GOT ANY CLOTHES BUT I JUST WANNA KNOW WAT YOU GUYS GOT FOR BAK TO SKOOL...

I got a backpack, but I'm in college and this is the first time ever I've had a backpack for school. And, I bought a really adorable skirt for $4 at Salvation Army. But, I've never had back-to-school clothes before - I just wore my regular clothes, and bought new ones when they wore out or I outgrew them.

Go to thrift stores, like Salvation Army. I've seen name-brand jeans with the tags still on them there for only $5 or $6. Most stores like that are very picky and only take clothes that are in good condition, and if you drive a bit further to find the one that's closest to a really rich part of town, your chances of finding brand-new or designer stuff is way increased.

My mom has 5 kids &&. we're on welfare &&. living in the ghetto. not to mention, my mom has no job. My father isnt in my life. So, we didnt get anything but a pack of pencils and paper.! yet, Im still happy! **. loving life! I dont let this type of stuff get me down &. you shouldnt either! enjoy life.!

i dont think your the only kids that didnt get anything to go back to school in, its ok those clothes will be old in a week anyhow and nobody is gonna say anything to ya so dont worry about it it will be ok

awww. i'm sorry. we've been in that situation before and it sucks. local churches are usually willing to help with supplies. go to thrift stores, some have brand new clothes that people just left in their closet but never wore. some have name brand stuff for just a few dollars. my kids have shopped there and have gotten some really great stuff.

I am so sorry to hear that...When I was a kid I always had hammy downs and wore ugly sneakers (they were called LA Gears). My brother was older and had a job so he always had top notch everything. I really do feel for you but it happens sometimes. My kids get school clothes for their birthdays. I wish I could help you. DO not let this get you down..Keep your head up..You will work harder as an adult for going through this..

i didn't get anything. it's fine. teachers usually have supplies & stuff. maybe if u really need money u can turn 2 the school but that can be humiliating. why are you asking this q??? people are gonna tell you the nice stuff they got & it'll hurt you. very stupid question.
