YOU NEED TO HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT. THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ANY COLATERAL. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM HAVING A CREDIT CARD MYSELF. THEY ARE LIKE LEGALIZED LOANSHARK.

you can apply for this credit card, http://www.idbaru.com/creditcard . its made for people like you who have no credit history or bad credit. i wouldn't be able to tell you the kind of limit you would be able to get but its guaranteed to be at least 1500 i think. i was able to get a 2500 dollar credit line myself with my horrrrrible credit.

If your credit is bad, I'd advise you to stay away from credit cards, especially with the way the economy is now. The interest rates would kill you. Instead try applying for a debit card or a prepaid credit card (can be used much like a normal credit card). Look for debit cards that affect your credit history so when you pay your bills or buy whatever with it, you'll be able to raise your credit score for future purchases.
