I DON'T wanna turn 18 years old?

It's so scary for me. Being a grown up is scary for me. I don't want August to come. any advice? I know I be able to do whatever I want. I don't care about that.

Hey, your a adult now!! you can get your license!! (i DONT WANT AUGUST TO COME EITHER!! I HAVE A DENTIST APPONTMENT..HELP!!) Its pretty cool, you have a lot more choices of what you want to do with your life, its not that hard..jsut don't think about having kids yet..or s.e.x. etiehr..ok??? jsut get on with your life..its awesome!!! I was the same way. I'm 19 now and I'm still alive.

Life changes whether you want it to or not, so you have to learn to accept it. Being 18 isn't that bad.

Hahahaha You my dear are the first person I ever heard say that......Very adult of you to already know it ain't peaches/cream out here.......Don't worry though just take it oneday at a time, ever learning,become wiser/stronger....It is a part of life you cannot change......If you stay away from certain people, places, things and desires you will be just fine...It's not like you are going far away from your security it's more like becoming secure within yourself.....It's not only doing what you want it's also becoming who you were born to be,too keep your family growing,too make a difference in someone's life....Nothing to be afraid of especially if you have a plan,a goal.....Believe in God,Pray and treat others as you want to be treated even if they don't appreciate it....Happy Birthday/Blessings Against Fear of Adulthood..All is Well.......Blessings Yahoo

18 really doesn't change anything. And being 18 doesn't mean you can do "whatever" you want. If you live with your parents you still have to follow their rules and you still can't drink/get into most clubs.

Thats the way life goes, u get older and older every year nothing you can do about it :) I know what you mean though, i just turned 20 and wish i could go back to when i was 12, life was so much easier then. You dont know what you miss until its gone.

You wont necessarily be able to whatever you want. You are not above the law now that your 18 lol. Nothing really changed when I was 18...I still live at home but now im going to college and I dont have a curfew, but I still obey my parents. When you turn 18 these are the NEW things you can do...

Can sign yourself out of school (if still in HS)

Buy Lotto Tickets

Buy Cigarettes

Get into 18 and over clubs

Buy Pornos

Buy Meds that require 18years or older.

Lol so really whats that exciting cuz I dont do half those things lol...

Can be arrested and charged a lot worse.

You can live on your own (but you can still live at home unless your parents kick you out)

really? its not that bad.

i was scared too, but then i realized that the only thing different was I could stay in bars, but [couldn't drink] and I can buy cigarettes, which is pointless since I don't smoke.

So, unless your parent's are wanting you to do something extravagant, there really isn't any worries.

18 isn't nearly as bad as you think.  It isn't about being able to do whatever 'you' want.

For one thing you probably are still in school and will go on to college next year. You will either live in a dorm OR stay with your folks for a couple more years.  Most kids do not reach financial maturity until they finish college, so your parents will stil be taking care of you.  Paying the bills etc, unless you opt to drop out of college and be a layabout.  That will end the freebies.   So in reality you have a couple more years 'in the nest' before the big birds make you fly.

Seriously, you don't WANT to be 18? You have no choice anyway, August is coming up and your going to get older like everyone else on the planet. I can't wait to be your age, it's going to be the best times of my life! Well, I haven't got to wait that long. Anyway, growing up is scary, but really.. You can't do nothing about it.
