Im Confused...

If N is an odd integer greater than 9, in terms of N, what would be the smallest even integer greater than N?

  1. The fact that N > 9 is irrelevant.

    We know that N is an odd number; the question asks you to figure out the smallest even number that is still greater than N.

    Let's say N is 11 - the smallest even integer greater would be 12.  If N is 13, the smallest even integer would be 14, etc.

    So, since you don't know the exact value of N, your answer can't be an exact number - it has to be in terms of N.

    Try N+1.
