Do you mean look at what items are available?  If so, you have to join your local FreeCycle Group first.  After you've joined it, you can browse its message archive to see what was posted as available in the past, or you can wait for new messages to come in.  Each item that is available will have a message sent to that local FreeCycle Group telling what the item is.
