I Found California Quail babies and The parents are dead. What should I do to care for them?

I plan to try and get them to some one that can care for them, but it being Sunday I know that they are all probably closed. I want to know how I should be doing to make sure they live that long.

you can probably give them bird seed or chicken food(starter mix) and make sure they have water. very very shallow container.

they know what to do they are trained professionals

If you are POSITIVE the parents are dead, get them to a local wildlife rehab..look here for one near you:

Try to get in touch with a wildlife rehabber in your area and take there asap. If not keep them warm and offer food. Keep them in quite place. Do not give water by dropper. Put a very small shallow lid top with some in it. Can feed a varied diet I would look up appropriate one on web. Call a shelter they may give you rehabber number or a er vet even they should have numbers. Good luck.
