  1. First of all milk can cause all kinds of digestive problems, cat's are not able to digest or process pasteurized milk.  Do not feed any animal people food, it is not good for them.

You need to give your new buddy some wet and dry food with some fresh water nearby.  Do not leave the wet food out - it can go bad quickly.  Make sure you have a litterbox with no additives except baking soda - and that there is at least 3-4 inches, and cleaned out daily.

Remember, cats are cats and they eat cat food - not humans, and should not eat food human food.  The cat food has the proper and balanced proteins and nutrients that people food can't.

  2. Try some chicken broth. If it is that sick it may need to be force fed, how old?....if a baby you can buy mother's milk and a bottle. If older, it may be sick with a disease like leukemia or something else as bad. So, even though you are trying, if it doesn't drink soon, it will die and it is really suffering if that is the case. The humane thing to do is put it down. That is if it doesn't eat soon...put it in a room where it is at ease and alone and quiet with water and some soup. It may need to be just calm before it will try. Keep it away from any other animals. I am an animal lover and rescuer so I don't like telling you this but sometimes it is the best thing. They can't talk and say what they feel so I assume the worst if they are that bad. Love you for trying....chicken broth. good luck Miss Mary

  3. Cats will not eat brad or biscuits etc. You need to buy some cat food for her or, if you don't have any give her some tuna or even a little shredded cooked chicken for right now until you get to the store. Try putting up notices that you have found her, advertise in your paper etc to see if anyone claims her. Good luck!

  4. Did you think about buying some CAT FOOD?  Make sure you leave water down (NOT milk) and try to find out where the cat came from by asking local vets/animal shelters/lost and found posters.

  5. Sometimes cats will not eat if they are upset. Have you tried leaving the food in a very quiet area of your house and not going near it for hours. It would be best to leave it out overnight. Also, many cats love wet cat food. That may be a way to get the cat to eat. Some cats do not like milk, butter, eggs, etc. Also, since you just found the cat it would be a great idea to take it to the vet for a check-up.

  6. DO NOT FEED A CAT MILK... they are lactose intollerant. it will give her diahrea.

THEY ARE MEAT eaters... give beef tuna/ go buy some cat food until you can find her mom.

if you can't she is yours.

TAKE TO A vet to see what is the matter with her.

  7. She needs meat in her diet rather than carbs, ideally a properly formulated canned cat food, but in the meantime if you have some chicken, turkey, beef etc you can offer her some small bits of that it would be much better than any of the options you have mentioned. Good luck with the kitty.

  8. Cats don't eat milk and bread. Give her boiled chicken or cat food for God's sake! If she doesn't eat those, take her to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Also provide water.

PLEASE GIVE HER SOME MEAT, THE FOODS YOU ARE GIVING ARE NOT FOODS FOR CATS. YOU TOOK HER IN TO STARVE HER TO DEATH? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

  9. Take her to the vet immediately.  The same thing happened to me, I found a kitten and she wouldn't eat.  I took her to the vet as an emergency (which is what you should do, just walk in) instead of waiting another few days for the appointment I'd made her, and they said if I'd waited another 12 hours she'd have died.

It's likely your cat is very sick.

They'll probably give you a mild cat food and wide-tipped syringes and teach you how to force feed her, as well as giving you relevant medications.  My vet bill ran me about a hundred dollars and that was for a broad-spectrum antibiotic, fleakiller, the feline HIV test, the cat food, and an eyedrop for her eye infection.

If all goes well, you won't have to force feed her for long before her appetite comes back and she begins eating on her own again.  For me it was less than a week.
