I Froze!! Where do I go from here?

failed,

I've been wanting to tell my boyfriend that I love him,

We've almost been together a year, our one year is in two weeks!

( We were very good friends for about 4 years and then turned into a relationship )

I've been in love with him for a few months now, like MADLY in love, and I'm getting restless wanting to tell him.

i tried to tell him the other night, and just froze.

I said something along the line's of : "it's hard to say "

and he of course asked what...

I froze again, and just told him " Just know that you're perfect "

He told me " far From" and i went on telling him that I was serious...

I didnt get a response, we were laying in bed.

How do I know when it's the right time?

When I won't freeze up.. It's gonna burst inside me, I really want to tell him.

How can I make sure its not awkward?

I know it's like the little 13 year old questions, but me and my boyfriend are both in our 20's.

Please help!

  1. u will know when to say it,

  2. you just need to push those butterflies away and just say it... even if you're lying in bed in the darkness with your eyes shut tight and a pilow over your head to hide!

Once you say it, it's easy...saying it for the first time is the hardest. Maybe deep down inside you have a fear that he wont say it back?

  3.   You just need to tell him up front your feelings and being in bed is not the best time as other distractions are there. Try over a nice dinner, worked for me.

  4. Just go straight out with it. It's always harder trying to figure out how your going to say it to him. Just be straight forward, and trust yourself. Im sure it will work out. Best of luck!

  5. Put it in writing baby.  A hand written note pushed into his shirt pocket should do the trick.  No chance of freezing here, I hope !

When I was dating, my GF (now my wife) used to write lovely poems about togetherness, love and what I meant to her and even read them out to me.  It really moved me, like nothing else could.  Believe me !

  6. Ha! just blurt it out any old time, dont hold it next time (he may be as anxious as you to say it!)

  7. Why don't you wait until HE TELLS YOU? You can always DEMONSTRATE THROUGH LITTLE ACTIONS what you feel. Resist the temptation to get it out of your system in a hurry.

  8. You will tell him when you are ready, u probably freeze because you are scared he wont say it back!

This is natural, i remember saying it to my boyfriend, i remember how hard it was, and how scared i was, we were lying in bed too, we are both 20 we had been togther nearing a year so i totally understand.

But you just say it, its scary, but i bet you he will say it back!!

Just take a big breath and say it!

    Good luck!

  9. My advice would be to just let it burt out. To me the more random it is, the more pleasing it would be to hear. Only do this if you are sure that he feels it for you too.

If you aren't sure if he does, then ask him how he feels about you. If he says he loves you let it out that you love him too. If he doesn't know or doesn't love you then try to hold it in until he feels it for you.

  10. well if u were not shy to lie in bed with him..then u should say it...trust me if u mean it its the best thing ever and the best feeling!! good luck!!
