I GOT CRUELA DEVlL!!!?

Question

My acting company is doing a production of 101 Dalmatians and i have scored the part of Cruela!

I just have some questions!:

When i talk what sort of voice should i use?

When she moves doesnt she sort of stride along?

When with her sidekicks (Horace and Jasper) is she always more forward/louder/meaner/sharper with them?

well you could go rent the movie cause to be honest i forgot all about her really but i think with her sidekicks she should be more Sharp with them. When you talk talk like like you are a priss.

You want to use a demanding tone, this is what she does, and walk like your on a cloud, as she does, glides when she walks....not seeming to take steps.

you will love this part......you get to be the bad person, now I don't any little dogs painted up, or extra spots put on them, okay, ha ha

and no taking all the dogs home with you, after the play is finished.....

voice, really demanding, rent the movie or buy it and study her, now the people version, not the animated one.

and watch her every move, and every tone of voice she uses, and when to change your tone of voice...this will really help if you will watch how she did it.

Be imperious.  Cruella is accustomed to being obeyed.  Her every whim should be instantly catered to.  When she moves, she moves with purpose.  She has a goal in mind, and she takes steps to get it accomplished with minimum fuss and bother, no matter what objections the inconsequential people around her may have.
