  1. It's a scam. Don't give out any personal information.

  2. I would guess "Scam-o-rama"!!

  3. anything that sounds too good to be true is probably just that so just delete all of these espeically fio they need account numbers from your bank.

  4. Any email offering money is a scam. Who ever falls for these emails deserve to be scammed.

  5. If you're being notified that you won something for which you never registered, you are being scammed.  Contact them if you want to find out more, but as soon as they ask you to send them money, you'll know its a scam.

  6. SCAM! If it sounds too good to be true then it usually is.

  7. I've been getting those too.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't a scam.

  8. I recieved an email from this same EXACT address.  These are 419 scams, and are ALWAYS untrue.  In fact, I found your yahoo question by copying "richard kennedys' email and pasting it into google.  You can always report this to the FBI, but it is always hard for them to keep track of these 419 scams as they are VERY VERY common.  These 419's come in the most common form of lottery winner emails and sad stories of beautiful women in abusive relationships or they are trapped overseas and need you to send them money VIA western union, wire transfer.  If you have anymore questions, feel free to add me to your friends list and you can ask anything about this type of illegal activity,  since I have a LOT of experience with them. at the bottom is the email that I personally recieved.

    1. If you didn't enter a lottery from this country or any others for that matter, you didn't win.

    2. When people win the lottery, they don't recieve contact from the lottery.  The winners are always the ones making contact to them instead.

    3. The best thing that you can do is NOT to respond to this email in any way, and to just SPAM it.  Sometimes These are either Russian mobsters, or bored ex-KGB agents as well.  419 refers to  section 419 of the Nigerian law that they have broken.

  9. This is a SCAM. The below links gives confirmation of various email scams hitting the internet, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them :

    http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/lo...

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or...

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.
