I HAD A DREAM THAT SCARED THE LIFE OUTTA ME, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THIS MEANS!!!

Question

For about 2 months i've been having similar dreams that all involve someone trying to kill me...but its not like cat and mouse...i'll explain...

my dream will usually start out somewhere i have never been but i'm with ppl i know...

well in the one i had last night me and my friends pull up to a drive-thru to order food and the guy that takes our money is looking at me like possessed (zombie like) and asks me if thats my car, i say yes, then he asks me if my name is analisa ******* and i say yes, then he picks up a knife and leans over into the car to stab me but i hurry and roll up the window and take off....

all of my dreams that i've been having, have someone that is like being controlled to kill me, but the weird part is that they have this look in thier eyes that they dont want to kill me but they have to...

last night i woke up scared outta my mind and i could not go back to sleep, im paranoid!!! is someone out to get me?

you have a clinical symptom of anxiety disorder. you may want to go to you doctor or a psychiatrist to tell them of your reacurring very distubing dreams. also nightmares are a number one syptom of POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER. has anything ever happened to you in you life even real young and real stupid likie fear of clowns or a very scary moment in life like a car wreck?

Perhaps your dream is an expression of anxiety that you may be experiencing in your waking life right now.  Dreams are usually just that, or random things made up by our brains to process useless information we obtain.  Try not to think about your dream, thinking about it will make you dream it more.  Tell yourself that you will not dream it anymore.

Not every dream has to have a meaning.  Usually the only reality in a dream is the emotion, which apparently is fear.  Suggestion: Don't open yourself to everyone's opinion like this.  People can suggest things that aren't truth, then become truth to you because you choose to believe them.  These aren't the kinds of questions you want strangers answering.

Downinah... answer is a prime example of this.  someone tells you you have the symptoms of a disorder, fear grips your mind, worry sets in and it is all you think about until finally you actually have the mental illness and doctors put you on medicine that you become dependent upon compounding the problem.

You know...usually dreams have a deeper meaning and you can't really take them at face value.

I looked up what it meant and you'd be surprised how many other people have experienced a dream similar to yours (seriously, I'm reading something right now about a guy who *just* had a dream about a zombie-like creature trying to kill him). I truly doubt someone is trying to kill you.

Think: Is there anyone you associate with who you feel may not have your best interests at heart? Perhaps it's someone you least expect, or maybe the person is hiding their feelings well? Do you have any enemies who may be trying to undermine you? Is there a male in your life whose aggression makes you uncomfortable? If any of this rings a bell, I suggest you get the toxic people out of your life ASAP!

OR...Do you think you're losing your sense of self? Do you feel like you're going in the wrong direction in life? Do you feel like there's something in your life that is not quite right? Do you need to do away with anything? Think about it...
