  1. Anything from Clean & Clear. That's what I use. But remember, you are only in 6th grade, so the reason you have acne, is most likely because you are going through puberty. So it'll be hard to get perfect skin at this age (or any age at that matter). But I definitely do recommend Clean & Clear products. Just talk to your mom about which one of those products is best for you.

And for you hair, just love the way it looks! You don't look bad. Maybe some layers, or side swept bangs would work for you.

    Hope this helps!

  2. i think you look beautiful =]

but if you really want to get rid of your acne, try using a cleanser or treatment wit salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxde. they're the typical over the counter medications that help reduce acne. if that doesn't work, try talking to your doctor or dermatologist so they can perscribe something that helps.

as for your hair, you can just try some new hairstyles like braids, messy buns, ponytails with headbands, and etc.

there's no need to go overboard, you're still pretty young, and beautiful. <3

  3. Many kids your age have acne, so you are not alone.  And almost everyone grows out of it - though I know that doesn't help  you now.  Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for acne.  Your doctor may recommend some prescription medication.  Keep your face very clean.  Drink plenty of water.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  Try to reduce the stress in your life.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

  6. ok for ur hair: layer it in the front and get side bangs... if ur allowed to color it then color it choclate brown.. for face use some proactive it will help!... maybe a light line of eyeliner... u dont look ugly!! u just need to style ur hair cute :D good luck!!!

  7. first of all hun, you are NOT ugly.

but i would be more than glad to help you.

what you feel about your self image is alot.

    so, i would get proactiv.

i swear by it. i didnt have acne, but i had like red bumps and my skin was kinda red and blotchy and proactiv cleared it up for me. so i would start using that. it takes like 1 week or so, for it to come in the mail, but you will start seeing results in about 4 days. so, that takes care of your acne problem. next, i would go to the salon and get your eyebrown shapened and waxed, its not like you have a unibrow, but they need to be shapened. you know, have an arch and some shape, their kinda just sitting there. you have really pretty blue eyes, but you could make them pop more. i would try the eye makeup by almay, thats supposed to bring out your eyes. they have eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner thats made speicificly to bring out blue eyes. they sell it at walgreens, or i think CVS. but i know for sure at walgreens, i see it all the time. also, your hair is kinda thin. so i would get a rat tail comb and tease it at the root. that'll make it look thicker.

also, get some layers in your hair, and you would look really pretty with a side bang. just make sure it doesnt look like a donald trump comb over, i see lots of girls that THINK they have a side bang, but it really looks like a donald trump comb over. lol. and when your skin clears up with the proactive, i would get like a tinted moistrizer. that'll even out your skin and still give it a glow. and a bronzer will really brighten up your face and give you that "glow".

but dont worry. try to do some of the things i said, and you'll be feeling better about yourself in no time!

    :]

  8. first of all. you're not ugly.

you should try clean&clear stuff..it works for me.

and maybe dye you're hair brown, kinda red but not too red. bangs maybe

  9. you have acne...... big whoop. you are changing (you know, puberty) so all of it should go away. you are not ugly.

  10. I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.

Please read this with your mother or parents. SECONDLY, IT IS DANGEROUS FOR YOU TO POST YOUR PICTURES ON THE INTERNET BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT MAY TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!! PLEASE REMOVE YOUR PICTURE AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO MEET WITH YOU TELL YOUR PARENTS IMMEDIATELY!!!

You happen to be a beautiful young girl and with the right skin care regimen you will be on your way to have an acne free face.

I am writing you a long response but I ask you to please read it together with an adult that can tell you wether or not they agree with what I am writing.

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

  11. dont worry, your definitely not ugly. but it is important to feel good about yourself. so..

You should buy some face washes, but if your acne gets really bad you can go to the doctor and he can prescribe something to clear up your skin. For the hair just go to a salon and ask them what they would recommend.

  12. you need to look good?

    psh bs.

  13. Wtf's wrong with your it looks fine! :) If you want to make it less 'plain' try having layers put in. One more thing your not ugly so dont put yourself down so much!

  14. your only in the 6th grade, chill out.  u dont need to wear make up or dye your hair.  u look fine

  15. Here's what I would suggest from personal experience. Buy a good skin cleanser, 2.5% Benzoyll peroxide, and a good moisturizer. If you go to www.acne.org they have a good skin clearing routine using these products, which have worked for so many people. They also have a great messageboard where you can talk with other people who have acne and share products and methods that have worked for you.

    Hope I helped :)
