I HATE THIS TOWNN I WANT OUT NEED HELP?

i have a great job, girlfriend, steady group of friends, and ive lived here for about 15 years. but one problem,...if i spend one more day in this sh*thole im going to kill someone. I want to get out what should i do

You know what you should do, but I bet you a million bucks you wont do it.  I used to live in a small, crappy, backwards, country-hick town, and I left and headed for the big city where I had some family.  If I wouldn't have done that, I'd be soooooo miserable I'd probably kill myself and everyone else, for real.  But most people aren't willing to take a risk, most people aren't willing to leave things behind and most people wouldn't know where to begin doing something like that.  All that I can tell you is that you'll be better off if you take a risk and find a way to make it happen (and take that girlfriend of yours along with you).  Women like men that have dreams and at least ATTEMPT at making them come true.  It's all on you.

Run for office and change the town or move somewhere that you can make an easy commute to your job without actually living there

move somewhere fairly close to where you are now.  like a town 30 minutes to an hour away.  that way you can still work the same job, still have your girlfriend, and still see your friends when you want.

I feel your pain.  I happen to live in a rather "crappy" town myself.  I mean we have a good school system and all, and there are some decent jobs but the town itself is lacking in other areas!  Maybe move just a town over and you can keep the job, girlfriend, and everything else.

i dont think your friends or your girlfriend will mind that much, if you just explain to them why you have to leave.

you make it sound like you havent got much to lose...

but before you leave, make sure you get a new dealer from wherever your moving to. lol the last thing you want is to be stuck in a new city with nothing to occupy your time.

i left less than a year later.  i could not stand that dump or AZ.

I feel the same way. You need to find a place online where you'd like to live. Make a plan. Set a date. Find a job. Go. I have to wait until my kids graduate high school ( 6 years). Don't stay where you are and get married and have kids or you will be stuck there.
