I HAVE A COMPUTER THAT WILL GO TO A BLUE SCREEN WHAT DO I DO?

It will go to the blue screen whenever it wants to, with no error message just blue. I have heard of a virus called big blue but am at a loss!

Its hard to say without seeing it, but usually its a problem with your connection, fiddle around with the monitor cable, make sure its secured in the screen, somtimes it can come a lil lose any movement d/c it.

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . i suggest you boot on safe mode...

Once there, get into the repair console and try to do a repair with the operating system CD in your drive.

it would probably be best to format and reinstall your Operating System. the blue screen sounds like Microsoft Windows, in that case either find your Windows Installation CD and boot from it when your computer first starts and follow the instructions for reinstallation. if this fails, you need to get a Windows Start-Up floppy disk (i recommend the Windows Me start-up disk) and insert it into your computer when you reboot and use fdisk on your hard drive. format your hardrive and then insert the Windows Installation CD and follow its instructions.

the point of this is to get rid of a possible "virus" if there is one, or blue screen of death caused by bad sectors on your drive will be sorted out when you format your computer

remember to back-up your work before formatting your drive, otherwise you'll lose it all
