I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW TODAY AND I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DRESS?

HELP! I have a job interview in an hour and I'm not sure how to dress. I'm 16 and a girl. The job is at Old Navy, and I've just been told jeans are not okay.I have a pair of navy skinny jeans, And I'm thinking those would be okay.. Also, most of my skirts are jean skirts, are those alright?

Wear the navy skinny jeans and a reallllly nice top. Wear your hair down, put on some makeup (not too much), and maybe a litte jewelry. You want to look nice, that's the main thing.

Jeans are okay as long as they're neat. Be sure to compliment them with a nice top and you will be fine.

If you have an round toed high heels, those are perfect for job interviews.

A jean skirt would definately NOT be good considering they dont even want you to wear jeans.

If you have like a smart black dress, or a shirt and the navy jeans might be okay.

or like I said any smart dresses you might have.

A pencil skirt and shirt would be perfect but i don't know whether you have  them.

Dark jeans can be okay if you wear something professional on top like a button up shirt. Nothing too tight, nothing too revealing.

You just have to look like you care, you know? If you walk in wearing jeans, it's like the interview's just a stop you're making on your way to the mall. Try to look as put together as possible.

BUT you probably don't have to go overboard, because the job is at a clothing store not an office.

id go for smart casual kinda look, if its ok t wear jeans just wear them with a smart shirt / tee  =)

dress smartly and conservatively. It isn't about being fashionable. Try to wear something business like. I have interviewed hundreds of people for jobs, and have never hired someone who wore jeans.

No. Power dress or if you don't have the wardrobe at least do "smart casual" which doesn't include denim.

Hmm, I'd say a dress. If you don't have one of those, find a black and informal pencil skirt. I'm sure you don't need any help picking out a good top to go with one.

If they told you jeans are not okay, don't wear them.

And don't wear a jean skirt, you'll look like a s**t.

you need to dress professionally.  jean skirts are generally not acceptable for an interview.  you will probably need to purchase some nice outfits.  if you go to church and have nice dress clothes for that, that could be deemed acceptable.  always consider overdressing for an interview vs underdressing.

well yah wear the jeans if thats all you have and wear a nice shirt but make sure it doesnt show cleavage.

Please no jeans if you want to be considered for the job.  If most of your skirts are jeans skirts, perhaps do you have any Dickies (navy or tan) white blouse or any type of dress pants and white blouse.

You need to enhance your wardrobe. You should have a pair of khaki pants and a nice blouse that would fit in for an interview at a casual store. Jeans are not appropriate for an interview unless it is for warehouse work.

Find something in your closet that isn't a jean material even if it is a dress . Or borrow something from your mom or friend or sister . Someone .

I say wear the navy blue pants with a nice top. People don't notice dark color pants that much. It would be good to wear a light color top tho

I don't think you should wear jeans. But it would probably be a good idea to wear something that the Old Navy customers could relate to.  Be on the conservative side on an interview.

you should dress casual but not too dressy you should seem official cause thats what theyre looking for ...try not to be late cause then itll seem like you dont care about that job....maybe you should wear a nice v neck  shirt   and skinny jeans should be good cause its old navy...good luck!!
