  1. NONE.

Why are you wanting to breed her?

    Is she of champion bloodlines?

Is she a CFA or TICA Supreme Grand Champion?

Has she earned ANY titles at shows?

Has she ever even been shown?

I'm sure the answer is no.

So why breed her?  To make money?

Every kitten you let her bring into this world means another kitten or cat put to death at a shelter. And if those kittens go on to breed fact is, you could be singlehandedly responsible for FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND kittens in a seven year period. Do you really want that many kittens and cats put to death BECAUSE OF YOU? Are you really that greedy that you'd kill other cats and kittens just to make a buck?  I sure hope not.

Do the responsible thing - SPAY YOUR CAT.  Oh and FYI - longhaired cats like Himalayans and Persians are the #1 most surrendered/dumped on the streets breeds that show up at shelters.  So if you want more Himalayans - go check your local shelter and adopt some!

  2. I have 2 CFA registered Birmans. Dad was lilac point, mom was seal lynx point. Litter of 5 was a mixed bag: a chocolate point, a seal point, 2 blue lynx points & a lilac point. I got my 2 kittens spayed/neutered as soon as they were old enough. They have excellent pedigrees but are just pets. The breeder knows what she's doing & has been in the business for years. Dad is CFA national Grand Champion, mom is a CFA Champion as well. She just makes her expenses, even with charging $750/kitten. You shouldn't breed cats unless you show them too & it's expensive. I'm getting off topic. You can end up with any colors in the litter.

  3. That depends on what you want to produce.  Do you know if the cat carries for other point colors and if yes, what are they?

A seal point can for example carry for blue, lilac and/or chocolate points and only the pedigree of the cat would tell you.  Based on that information and your desired point color you want to produce you will chose the male.

  4. there r a variety of colors to choose from! but the most valuable r the lilac point himalayans. they r gorgeous and sell for a lot of money. some other options flame point and chocolate point. if u breed a seal and a chocolate u can get a cream point and they are also very valuable because they are always female and if they ever have a litter, they can throw any variety of color. himalayans r so fun to breed. good luck!
