I HAVE BEEN ASK BY STUDENT FINANCE FOR MY BULIDNIG SOCIETY ROLL NUMBER HOW DO I FIND IT AND WHERE?? ?

do i have to go to my bank before i can get it or what please help me i need to finish this application.

  1. it should be on your bank statements! or if you have a cashcard for making withdrawals at a atm it is usually on the bottom of your card under you account number. starts with a letter then / then your number. if its not here just ring the building society they'll tell you it.  


  2. It should be on correspondence with your building society. It is not the account number.

    Do you have internet banking? Quite often it will show up when you log in. Alternatively just phone them.

  3. It's what building societies call an account number. It'll be on statements, pass books, withdrawal cards etc.

  4. As previous answers say, it'll be on your statement.  It usually starts with a letter eg D/3456789.  However bear in mind that some Buiding Societies have been bought out by banks.  In this case sometimes the roll numbers have been scrapped and you may just have a sort code and account number.  Best thing to do is just call your Building Society and ask them.
