I am twelve and i have been getting a burning feeling for two months. i have had 4 urinary tests, and one blood test and it has all come clean. I have been on three different prescription pills for yeast, and three different yeast cream treatments. The first time i did the cream i did the 7 day treatment and i could find where to put it up so i just put it around the area. the second time i did a 3 day treatment and the little egg thing kept on slipping out. The third time i did the cream the doctor said that I should just put it on the outside of the area because it was so inflamed. Last time I went to the doctor she told me that it looked like i had a yeast infection. she did a swab test and said that i had bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection. She gave me some pills for

the vaginosis and the third yeast cream. She also gave me a pill that turns my pee a orange color. Now i am done with it and it is still burning down the air. the doctor did another swab test and said that the vaginosis was gone but the yeast was still there. she gave me another yeast pill and now i am on the second day of that pill but the burning doesnt seem to be getting better! i dont know what to do and i dont want this to still be burning when school starts in three days. i havent started my period yet. also i am not getting any itching just burning and i am also getting some creamy colored discharge. please help me. is there any way i could cure this quickly?

thanks

  1. if she gave you and antibiotic that kept the yeast infection from going away. Keep on putting on the medicine you will feel much better in a couple of days and try not to wear tight jeans it kinda has to breathe down there to help it go away also drink lots of water and cranberry juice. It will go away

  2. I know that is painful. But YOU have to tell your doctor that it isnt going away. And they should be able to take care of it. Also have you told your mom? And have you tried monostate. And actually this is hard to tell you. But the egg thing kept falling out because you didnt put the applicator in there far enough. And with the cream you have to insert it into your v****a also. The infection is around your v****a , its around and inside. And to deal with the burning until its cured you need to get some vagisel. It works for the burning, it will burn more at for the first second you put it on, then its like pure bliss. Good luck hun

  3. My heart really goes out to you because I know how hard this can all be. First: be open with your doctor. If you get too nervous when you see the doctor why not try writing it down before the appointment and handing the piece of paper to the doctor? Second: the pill that you've been given will probably work much better. I also have been through a time of very stubborn yeast infection and it is a long haul going through the many courses of creams etc until they finally give you the pill for it. You should be feeling better within a week or two. Third: get better informed about your body as it is really empowering and you'll be better at getting help from your doctor when you need it. I found a really good book called "The V Book: A Doctor's Guide to Complete Vulvovaginal Health" by Stewart and Spencer at my local public library and I'd recommend it for any woman who's had problems like this and for just generally getting to know your body better. Finally, some things that women who are susceptible to yeast infections find helpful include: wearing cotton underwear, avoiding wearing clothes that are tight around the groin (especially if they're synthetic), not using scented soaps or bubble baths or scented toilet paper, always wiping or blotting from front to back when you go to the toilet and having some acidolphilus yoghurt to eat each day. I hope that helps and that you get some relief soon!

  4. Some antibiotic can give you a yeast infection. If the bacterical infection is gone that's good. Try drinking a lot more water as well. Water is the best thing for anything. Also when you wash yourself wash from the front to the back. And when you wipe after using the restroom wipe from the front to the back. Also not to get you upset but I know at 12 there's a lot of girls that become sexually active. If by chance you are then stop. Even if you are with just one guy all your doing is swaping it back and forth to each other. You need to allow yourself time to heal totally. And this discoloration your seeing could be a sign you are about to start having your periods.

  5. You should see a different gyno. Often women who have reacurring yeast infections have an underling disorder. In the mean time keep taking the medine and wear loose pants. Wear 100 percent cotton panities. Wash your v****a with mild soap try Dove for sensitive skin absolutly no scented products. Ask about a pill that you only take once this clears it up in about 4 to five days. Best of luck.

  6. WHOHHHHH! TO MUCH INFO HUN. just go tell that whole paragraph to your doctor. i dont have a yeast infection so i cnt help you. sry
