I HAVE NOT CLAIMED DEPRECIATION IN LAST YEAR IN MY BUSINESS RETURN SHALL I CLAIM THAT DEPRECIATION IN CURRENT?

in last year return i have not claimed my depreciation, so shall i eligible to claim the depreciation in current year along with current year depreciation.

  1. no sir, u cant   last year is now history.


  2. You can claim depreciation only for the current year and not for the past , before that ,you verify weather you have added the list of properties in the last year and what reason your Auditor didn't arrive the depreciation.(Some properties like Vacant Land,Cell phones, are not eligible for depreciation).
