the presence of what molecule in urine is ian idcator of diabetes? i cant find the answer. i tried on the internet but i cant seem to find it. thanks a lot.

Sugar.  In the old days, a physician (such as they were) would test for diabetes by having the patient, (or himself) taste the urine.  (true).  If it was sweet, the patient had diabetes.

Glycosuria (excess sugar in urine) is actually a symptom, but will show up in urine.

Also, ketones. Ketoacidosis is characteristic of untreated type 1 diabetes
