  1. Pus as in clearish discharge which is actually called lymph is normal in any piercing.

If by pus you mean greenish discharge then it indicates an infection.

To prevent infection in a tongue piercing you clean it with alcohol-free mouthwash after eating. Avoid alcohol and spicy foods. Avoid things like neosporin, bactine, peroxide and rubbing alcohol. Have good oral care - brush and floss your teeth daily.

Tongue piercings are extremely fast healers, so infections seem quite rare. Just be overall healthy and you should be fine.

  2. If the pus is yellowy/greeny then you could have an infection. If not maybe it is just plasma or thick lymph which would be perfectly normal. Youv'e only had your tongue pierced for two days so you really shouldn't worry. If you are worried you can always go get it checked out. A doctor will give anti biotics for an infection.

You can do your bit to prevent one by using a non alcoholic mouthwash after meals/smoking etc. You should also avoid spicy food which will aggravate the piercing and abstain from kissing because you can pass on bacteria.

Good luck and i hope i helped you.

  5. Ew is it pussing thats rather gross rhi, if its yellow id go to the dr, its bound to be sore anyway because of the ''skin trauma'' i think i havent a clue, if its clear-ish then it shud be ok keep taking painkillers and have SUPER oral health care.
