I Had Unprotected s*x for the 1st time with my Boyfriend while on Birth Control Pills. Could I be pregnant?

I am on birth control pills and I take them everyday usually before I go to bed (10PM-12PM). However I do not take them at the same time everyday & have even missed 2 or 3 doses this month. So yesterday my boyfriend and I had unprotected s*x for the first time & I am absolutely terrified. Could there be a possibility that I am pregnant? How do I take my birth control to prevent pregnancy? In case I am pregnant should I stop taking my pills?

It is recommended you take the pill at the same time everyday but this is not absolutely necessary as long as you take it EVERYDAY. It is very possible that you might be pregnant if you have skipped the pill and had unprotected s*x. You will have to do a pregnancy test, see the Dr or wait till you next period to see if you are pregnant or not before going off the pill.

If you havent been taking the pill when you are meant to, I would get a pregnancy test just to be sure. But you need to be really careful, because taking the pill while you are pregnant can cause problems.

Get a pregnancy test just to make sure. If it comes out negative test again in a few days. Their is a chance since you haven't been taking them regularly. If you cant remember to take them try a different form of birth control such as the shot or the ring where its in place and you dont have to do anything. You could also try putting your pills in a day pill box ( a box for each day of the week ) this helps me when it comes to taking my pre-natals.

depending on how long you have been taking the pill they protect you for atleast 72hours as long as you remembered to take them as soon as you remebered the next day i honestly wouldnt worrie, god knows i was c**p on the pill always forgot to take it but i was fine, they say the pill stays in your system for about 4months untill it properly clears but that dosnt mean you shouldnt take it everyday !!

It is possible that you could get pregnant but it is still small chances. The pill is still pretty effective even when you mess up on taking it. I was very bad with taking mine but I luckily never got pregnant before I wanted to. But even with taking it effectively there is a chance of pregnancy, that is a chance you take everytime you have s*x, no matter how safe you think you are being. Just calm down and wait for your period, if it is late then you need to take a test. But the more you worry about it you can potentially cause your period to be late because of the stress you are putting your body through. Good luck.

Ya there is a chance that you could be only because you missed a few days of it the way they work most effectively is if you take them the same time or around the same time everyday with no missed days i would think you should stop taking them they cant be good for the baby when are you supposed to start if its soon wait and see if you miss if you do the get a HPT and take it from there but you really shouldn't miss your pill.
