Question:

I Have A Laptop Problem [e.g. Drawing wise]?

Well recently I've gotten a new laptop and I thought it was really awesome, not to say it isn't because it is quite nice. But I am an artist, you see and I'm using a Wacom Intuos. So, when trying to go on interactive drawing sites [isketch, iscribble, artgrounds, etc.] my cursor pauses.. err freezes everytime I press the mouse (wacom pen). So sketching is out of the question, however if I do it on say Photoshop or Flash it doesn't freeze and lets me go about drawing and whatnot.

So what I want to know is.. How can I disable this pausing so I can sketch on these interactive drawing sites? :] It would be much appreciated to know.

  1. How good is your internet connection? I don't go to those sites, but if it'll handle photoshop it should be ok on those sites. What browser do you use? I'd suggest Firefox with the fasterfox extension installed.

So, that leaves 2 things I can think of. Internet connection (DSL may be too slow, Cable or faster is recommended) and RAM (you should have at least 2GB)

It shouldn't be a video card problem if Photoshop is fine)
