Okay so hears what happened.

I sold my friend 2 skateboards and 1 used deck.

The deal was that he was supposed to come the next day to pay me $100 for every thing.

But he said he couldn't make it so then he moved the date. Then he made excuses on why he couldn't pay over time which lead to about 2 mouths.

I've been in contact with him the whole time and he has agreed to pay me this Wednesday. So i asked him "your gonna pay me $100 right?" but then now he's saying that its not even worth that much, the last text that i got from said that he was gonna give them back to me because he doesn't wanna get ripped off.

I dont have any paper work. The only thing i have is a witness when the deal was made. What should i do?

  1. Put this one down as a lesson learned. Clearly this guy isn't your friend if he is backing out of the deal you made. He's been using your stuff for two months now wants to give it back.

Keep business transactions business. They don't get the stuff unless they have the cash.

    Lose the so called "friend"

  2. I would ask him again nicely. If he does not give you the money by this Friday, you need to either get your things back or involve someone else (a police officer or your parent/his parent). I am not sure how old you are but that is not right!

He does not seem like a really good friend! You should rethink your friendship with him!

  3. Just leave that jerk and find a job

  4. First, take the board away from him next time you see him! then you have the board. But with the money problem...... next time you see him say something like, "Hey dude, if you can't pay me for it give it back. Or if you want to see it again, give me the money for it. I'm not going to keep on asking, I'm not playing games with you anymore. Your choice." Just make sure you stick your ground with the guy and be VERY straight forward. Hope this helped!

  5. Take the items back and never agree to sell this person anything ever again.

  6. Don't get a lawyer or the police involved lol! It is not worth it! You will end up spending more money on them than you will actually get. In the meantime, let him return the stuff and let this be a lesson for you! Explain to him calmly that you are annoyed about the situation- he should understand! In future I wouldn't let him borrow anything or buy anything off you!
